Churches are the perfect support system for those walking through cancer.
However, understanding how to best meet the needs of patients with cancer and their families can be a challenge as there are so many things to consider.
Here at Maple Tree Cancer Alliance we are committed to improving the quality of life for those going through and coming out of cancer treatment. Because of that, we want to help equip churches to effectively shepherd their members through cancer.
We will be launching our first round of church programming this fall. Our goal is to help church leadership equip their members to minister to others walking through cancer. We will teach you how to effectively lead a cancer support group and encourage cancer patients and their families to struggle through the process well.
The program will begin on September 17 at Apex Community Church. It is 6 weeks in length and will provide tangible ways for people to love and serve others who have cancer. In addition, people who complete the 6 week class will be given a curriculum to start their own cancer support group! Click the button below to register for the course.
This program will have a significant impact on those who are walking through cancer treatment in your congregation. For more information, fill out the form below!
